Interesting weekend

Well it was an interesting weekend. Actually a pretty good one. Besides the sex we had Fri. night and Sat. morning. Fri was my dads 61st birthday. So we went over there for dinner and cake. But as Summer has said her truck has been in the shop. So that meant we had no transportation to get over there. To my surprise my dad called and said that he and my mom would come over and drop off his F350 and leave it with us for the weekend. I was stoked. I LOVE his truck. 4 door crew cab, power stroke engine, this truck is just reeking of testosterone. :D So that was a good part of Fri. Then at my parents house my dad brought out a bottle of something he bought while in Mexico a few weeks ago. I thought that it was tequila. Nope I was wrong. It was something called mescal or something like that. Whatever it was I was a little apprehensive about drinking it at first. I was supposed to be driving my dads truck home. He said that Summer is capable of driving and gave me a shot. WOW! That was gooood. 1 shot, 3 beers and I was feelin' pretty good the rest of the night.

After dinner we had a cake for my dad and my mom thought it would be fun to put 61 candles on it. Talk about a blaze. :D Then she even got about a dozen of the candles that re lit. The youngest thought that was the greatest thing since sliced bred. After that my dad brought out the slide projector and we watched slides of my parents wedding day. It was pretty cool until the slides appeared of my cousin that was the ring bearer at their wedding. Those slides got fast forwarded through.

Sat. was the day to put the new closet organizer in youngest closet. I took everything out of the closet, took all the old shelves down, and found out the new one won't work. So that meant a drive to Lowes about 40 minutes away to buy a new one. Which they didn't have. So we had to buy separate pieces to make one of our own. It worked though. He is SO happy about his new closet. He is able to hang up his own clothes now. So when I did the laundry Sat. he wanted us to watch him hang up all of his clothes. He was so proud of himself. I also got 4 hours of overtime on Sat. as well.

Sun. I got another 4 hours of overtime as well so I was unable to make it to church with Summer. She also got to drive my dads truck again. For some reason she's not to thrilled with driving it. I suppose that it just has to much testosterone for her to handle. :-D

Lastly I am such a good cook! Oh MY GOD! I cooked something new last night and it was wonderful. I took a pork loin roast that had 2 pieces tied on top of each other. Then I cut the string and separated the two pieces. Placed new string on a cutting board and placed 4 pieces of bacon over the string. Next I placed a loin half over the bacon. Then spread some raspberry preserves on top of the meat. Place the other half of the loin on top of the preserves, put on another 4 slices of bacon, and use the string to tie the loins back together. Oh I forgot something. I soaked some hickory chips in water for two hours before I started to cook. When I lit the gas grill (wanted to use charcoal but it was wet due to the rain) I put the soaked chips in a tin cup over the flames to get some smoke going. When the grill was good and smokey I placed the loin on the grill with a drip pan under it to keep the bacon grease from catching on fire and burning the meat. Let me tell you that the smells coming from the yard every time I went out there was just amazing.

I AM the grill master.

Summer took this test as well. She did not see any of the answers that I gave and I was not in the room when she took the test. She got a score of 45 points. I must admit though that I answered number 2 based on our relationship over the bulk of our marriage and not the first 5 months of our marriage. At that point we didn't have sex from March 20th (8 days after our wedding) to July 25th (when I came home from boot camp). I don't count that period because we didn't choose to not have sex. If we were together we would most definitely have been making sweet sweet love. Oh yeah.

Dancing!

Finally! I have tried to make this post since last night. I forgot that when I set up my youtube account that it was set to make posts to the old Blogger account not the new one. But I finally got it straightened out after needing to create a new account with youtube. So here is what I tried to put up last night.

Tonight (last night) while downloading songs onto my ipod and shopping itunes I came across this song. I have heard it many times on the radio before but it was always with the electric guitars. Never acoustic. So I bought the song and played it on the computer. When the song started playing I grabbed Summer and started to dance with her in the living room.

It took her completely by surprise. We haven't danced in years. I'm not a dancer. I really love to dance. The closeness of it. The intimacy. It just gets me so horny! So it's a good thing we took care of that earlier in the afternoon. ;-)

Anyways it was real great. She was so happy and surprised. Her smile was huge. I'd even be willing to bet that if I were to look close enough that I could see her eyes starting to well up. We had a real enjoyable evening.

Any ways the song is called Everything changes by Staind. Their lead singer is Aaron Lewis and he sings some really moving songs. Most of them are about relationships. Like the one here. Someday I'm going to go see a show that Aaron Lewis does without the band. It's just him a guitar and a mic. Nothing else.

Well maybe I was over reacting a little bit in my previous post. I don't know. I do know that writing it out did make me feel a little better. I wasn't trying to make Summer look bad. I was just trying to get my feelings out without letting them fester inside me until they come out in a negative way. Like they used to with me blowing things WAY out of proportion and losing my temper.

My favorite blonde reminded me in her comment that I never said what her romantic gift was. I heard about this place on the radio and thought that it was perfect. Real romantic. And unlike flowers, balloons, and other things that fade or die, this would be with us forever. I had a romance novel custom made just for her and I. I got it here at a site called Book by You. If you click there I got her the book called ER Fever. What you do is insert specific information like names, hair color, eye color, etc. and they add it into the story. The book has Summer as the heroine and me as the hero. I even got to add her best friend into the story.

I thought it would be perfect.

She loves to read. Check.

She loves romance novels. Check.

She loves me. Check.

It's romantic and Valentines is about romance. Check.

True she wanted a CD or just some flowers. I got her flowers, and balloons. But the CD just doesn't say I love you, or romantic. I also don't want to go buy a CD at a store when I can get one through Itunes for a lot less. (Yes I know it's not about money.) Lastly I didn't here the CD she wanted till it was too late to go to a store and get it on time. We live in the boonies remember.

Any ways before I sign off for the night I'll leave you with the back cover of the book. It has a picture of Summer and I thought I sent along with the order. Then it has the normal description of the book.

In ER Fever, gifted nurse Summer Rose works side by side with the dashingly
handsome doctor, Confused Husband, saving lives in an action-packed emergency
room. Both have sworn off romance, but even our pair of dedicated professionals
aren't immune to Cupid's spell.... thanks to a little help from Bo and their
trusted friends. Just as CH begins to win the heart of SR, a vengeful former
flame swoops onto the scene threatening not only their budding relationship but
also their careers. With lives on the line, spicy romantic encounters and
drama-filled boardroom showdowns, the high stakes world of ER Fever will get
your temperature rising. Pick up your prescription for passion and catch the
fever!

Well I did it again. Even though I told myself not to. I even promised myself last year that I wouldn't do it ever again. I told Summer for a few weeks that I wasn't going to do it.

Do what?

Get a Valentines present for her. After the debacle that was last year I was through.

Then the day got closer and closer. I realized that it was very petty and child like of me to act in that way. So I found a gift that was very romantic. i thought that this would be the perfect gift. If I were a woman this would be exactly what I would want from the man that loves me.

So I ordered her gift on Mon. Paid extra money to have guaranteed delivery for V-day. That's when the first problem hit. The dam storms back on the east coast delayed the delivery. So much for guaranteed delivery.

It did get here today though. It was delivered to my parents house so that she would not see it. I picked it up and made sure it was the right thing. Came home and presented it to Summer. As is usual for me when I have a gift for her I am excited and happy. Just for the fact that I have a gift for her to show my love. I LOVE to give gifts! She opens it and gets upset. Again! That's 2 years in a row that this has happened.

So why should I bother with giving gifts anymore? Seriously. Our anniversary is in a few weeks, and a few weeks after that is her birthday. But apparently I suck at giving gifts so why bother? Why continue to set myself up for failure and humiliation? All those people that blog about how much V-day sucks and is just for businesses to make money are right. Not even a card next year. I'm DONE!

Monday, February 12, 2007

Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday to ME!
Happy birthday to CH,
Happy birthday to me.

That's right. It's only 3 more hours till my 33rd birthday. I actualy can't wait for my birthday this year. That's just because of how great my wife is though. I'm getting an Ipod!!!!! I'm so excited. We bought it Sat. afternoon but she won't let me open it till tomorrow.

So we will be having my parents and grandma over for a lasagna dinner (my favorite), and some cake and ice cream.

As for an update on Summer she is doing beter. Today she didn't need any pain killers. YEAH! She also started to sleep in our bed again over the weekend. She was kinda forced to on Sat. night. Youngest gpt sick and insisted on sleeping on the couch. It's nice to have her in bed again, but it's still not the same. She is still staying in an upright position. She's not alowed to lay on her side. That's the worst part. No side laying means no spooning. No spooning means no cuddling. None the less it is still great to not sleep alone anymore.

Nothing here

That's right my friends. I've got nothing going on here. At least nothing interesting. I've been bored out of my skull lately at home. Not sure why. The internet hasn't been holding my interest as much as usual lately. Hence the reason for me not posting much or visiting much. I've just been restless I guess. Summer is coming along nicely. She is still sleeping on the couch. I am starting to get the hang of sleeping alone though. I'm sprawled out over the entire bed when I wake up in the mornings. Although when I fall asleep I'm on her side of the bed holding tightly to the body pillow. Best invention ever for a person not accustomed to sleeping alone.

Last night was the first time since the operation that I have seen her without a bra on. She still has quite a bit of swelling to lose, and is still bruised up a bit. At least it don't make me queasy to see her now. So that is a good thing. But even though there is some swelling left there is a huge difference in how she looks. The other day when she was wearing her bra I looked down at her and I felt weird for a moment. It was like looking at the breasts of a much younger person. It made me feel like a pervert for a split moment. Then she kissed me and the moment was gone. My wife is an entirely new person in the way that she looks now.

So enough of that.

I guess there is one thing that has happened this week of importance. I started my new job. It is so great! I get to sleep until 7:00 now. I get up with the kids and help them get ready for school before I leave for work. I even have time to make me some toast for breakfast.

The crew that I'm on is great. My supervisors really are doing a good job of training me. Let me just say that it is nice to have an office job for once. now if only I can learn to type. That is a must with this new position. I'm catching on a lot faster with the time keeping than was originally thought. Now I need to learn how to do the scheduling. We have 2 ferries and 2 bridges that run 24/7 and 3 bridges that run 16/7. scheduling them is going to be a pain. There are so many rules that I need to learn. The bigger pain is that some shifts are 12 hours and some are 8. So that will take a little longer to get used to. I have 3 more weeks to learn as much as I possibly can before I am left out on my own. Next month I will start working nights and be in charge of all the ferries and bridges myself.

The other thing that I like about this job is that the time seems to be going by so much faster. I'm looking forward to going to work now. There is no down time like my other position. I have NEVER had a job like that before. The best part is that I don't have to talk to my old boss anymore. Unless I want to. Which has been 2 times in the last 3 days.

As my good friend LBP would say............*ding* and *DING!!* :-D

Ever have one......

......of those nights? You know where you have all these thoughts running through your head? Well that's where I'm at right now.

There are several things going through my head right now that are things to post about. But none of them are able to be stand alone posts. I just can't formulate them into something that can really be good to be one post alone. So I guess what I'm going to do is just give little snippets of the things running through my head right now. I apologize in advance if this post makes no sense what so ever or bounces all over the place. It don't even make sense to me!

First off we got out state tax return today. Like I said a few days ago- 'If you don't use E-file why not?' I filed last Sat. Check was deposited this morning in my checking account. It's the only way to go.

That being said we just had to go spend that money today. I paid off a credit card that we used for Christmas presents. 50% of the check gone. *SNAP* Just like that. After that check was written Summer decided that she wanted to get out of the house. So I washed her hair for her in the kitchen sink, gave her a bath/sponge bath, and helped her to get dressed. The boys were complaining about how hungry they were but I had plans. no time to stop and eat. Let's go!

First stop was the barber. I needed a hair cut badly. So did youngest. Afterwards I took the family out for a very late breakfast. It was more like lunch since it was after 12 by the time we got to the restaurant. After that we went to my favorite store. Wal-Mart. We got some things we really needed. Clothes, fishing licenses, you know. The necessities.

I was feeling really good about things. I took my family out for a really good breakfast. Bought them things they needed and wanted. Things were going beyond good. They were excellent. Then we went to work World so that I could buy my first pair of work boots in over 18 months. Not only were they my pair of new boots but they were the first pair of boots that I have paid more than 18 dollars for in over 7 years. I desperately needed work boots. My old ones had holes between the upper and the sole. They both leaked badly. My small toe was ready to pop out of my right boot.

So I got a pair of boots that were a little more than I wanted to spend. 70 bucks. I was alone when I picked them out. Summer was in the truck resting. I was supposed to get myself a new pair of jeans as well. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So as I'm paying for the boots Summer comes in with the boys. She asks me where the jeans are. I told her that I couldn't bring myself to get them. She said that I should get them because I need them. She also said that the money for the boots was fine. I needed them. So that was a good thing.

Then on the way home it hit me. I started feeling kinda low. I don't know what brought it on. I just started thinking about the money that we just spent and I got this low feeling.

That got me to thinking. When I was spending the money I was in this almost euphoric state. then after the money was spent I went straight down. It's always been like that. I just never saw it till now. Now I just need to figure out what it all means.

Well look at that. That almost made a post unto itself.

Secondly things are driving me fucking insane at home. I'm going crazy! Summer has been sleeping in the living room since she got home from the hospital. I'm not able to hold her close when I hug her. When I do hug her I can't think about just enjoying the holding her. Instead I'm afraid that I'm going to hurt her. There really is something to be said about the lack of physical contact affecting your moods. That and the lack of sleep. I can't sleep without her in bed with me. I need to be able to hold her to fall asleep. I'm getting up in the middle of the night to help Summer get off the couch so she can walk around the house to keep her legs from cramping.

I'm NOT complaining about this. It's just taking it's toll on me.

Lastly this one is kinda irritating me. For the last5 days I've been busting my ass doing everything here. But then when the kids do something I'm the one that gets their head snapped off. What the hell is that about? I'm not the one doing something wrong. But I'm the one that is getting snapped at for no reason at all. This is really taking it's toll on both of us.

So how much longer till things go back to normal around here?

Hunting pictures

As I said a few days ago I will now post some pictures from the last few days of duck hunting.

Summer out goose hunting in my farmers field.

Our boys.

Our very small decoy spread.

The sunrise on my final day of duck hunting.

Me with the days take of ducks. My goose, drake mallard, drake teal, my cousins hen mnallard and hen wood duck.

The end of day total. The birds from the picture above, and 5 pheasants. 3 hens and 2 roosters. It was a good way to end the season.

What a day!

Well today was interesting to say the least. after getting the kids ready for school I got the privilege of giving Summer a sponge bath. :-D Not the easiest when she still has to wear her bra, but we made do. Afterwards we went over a few things needed from the store. So while I was at the store Summer called the store and had them page me over the intercom. She tells me on the phone that the doctors office called and that they wanted to see her as soon as we could get there.

When I got home she said that she was to see a specific nurse and they would have a bed waiting for her and she would be admitting her. Well to me that sounded like they were going to re-admit her to the hospital because they found some problems with the lab results 9they sent the tissue removed to the lab for testing). I immediately panicked and feared the worst. Several of my readers can attest to that. Sorry guys.

So we get to the hospital and they have a room waiting for us. They were expecting us as they said on the phone. But they were not admitting her, they were registering her for the visit. About 45 minutes before they called she had taken some of her pain meds and was felling a little loopy. Hence the misunderstanding.

The visit was because the doctor had given SR's nurses specific instructions to give us when we left the hospital. First of all they were supposed to give her a special bra to wear while she was still enlarged from the swelling. They never gave it to her. They were also supposed to tell us to NOT change her dressings until we saw him again on Mon. Instead they told me to change her dressing daily. He found out about the mix up and wanted to set things straight. That was the reason for the visit.

So we got the proper bra. He re-dressed the surgery area. And I got to get the first look at her new tatas. Even with the swelling there is a huge difference. I can't wait till the healing is over. It'll be like opening a new present on Christmas morning. :D I'm so excited.

The rest of the day was spent taking care of her and helping her around the house. Doing laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning, bathing kids.

so that was my day. Accomplished nothing I wanted to get done. My garage is still a mess. My hunting gear is still all over the place. And Summer's truck is still filthy.

Here's to a better day tomorrow.

Where to begin?

That's what I am asking myself right now. Where should I begin with the updates? I haven't really made a *real* update in quite awhile. So I think I'll just start off from last weekend (weekend of the 20th) and move on into this week.

So my cousin and I were making plans to go duck hunting for the entire weekend that weekend. Then on Wed. night (1/17) as we were talking about the last minute details my uncle broke in on the line to say that his M-I-L just passed a few minutes ago.

Now she was not family to me, but she did babysit me a few times as a kid and we stayed in touch through family events through the years. I had just eaten dinner with her 2 weekends prior when I hunted with my cousin last. she was not in good shape at all. She was in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's.

So my parents drove me down for the funeral on Sat. I had decided to go to the funeral instead of going hunting for the day. While there I had a few awkward moments with my aunt that is the mother of my divorced cousin. She and I had a little squabble on Myspace that I never posted about. So that was weird but other than that it was a good service.

While there I also started talking to my parents and and a few other relatives about retirement. Yeah I know. I'm too young to retire. That's ok though. Something that I am a firm believer in is that a person can NEVER be to young to plan for retirement. anyways I had always planned on retiring at the age of 59 1/2 (The age to draw from my 401k with no penalties). Through talking with my parents I found out that I can actually retire at the age of 55! Is that awesome or what? I can retire 4 1/2 years early. Then get another job like driving truck or whatever for the next 5-8 years. Then be done for good with the payments from SS. If I even decide at that point I want to work after leaving the state. I really won't have a need to. Outside of keeping me occupied while not hunting, fishing, and traveling.

The day after the funeral Summer asked me to stay home from hunting to be with her and the kids for the day. So I stayed home. but the wind picked up late in the afternoon and I couldn't pass on the opportunity. I told the boys to meat me in the truck in 15 minutes if they wanted to go on a quick trip to a farmers field for the last 2 hours of shoot time. That's when Summer asked if she could go too. So the whole family went. We had a really good time. Didn't fire a shot, but got to see thousands of geese grinding in the adjacent field. Not owned by the farmer that gave me permission to hunt. My work is cut out for me for next year. :D

Then came Wed. That was to be the last day of my duck season. I just didn't know it at the time. It was an awesome hunt. I ended the season with a bang. Literally. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. I shot 3 birds for over a box of shells. But I did get 2 nice drakes. 1 mallard, 1 teal. And my first and only goose for the season. After my cousin and I were done duck hunting his dad called us up and asked if we wanted to shoot some pheasants. Since I haven't shot a pheasant in years I said I'd love to. So he had 6 pheasants planted in a field for us by the time we got back to his club. We walked out there for the final hunt of the season and watched some amazing dog work by my uncles dog. We got 5 out of 6 birds.

It was the perfect way to end the season.

The next day is when I got sick and I was in bed for 3 straight days. I was out of bed long enough on Sat. to get my taxes done though. I just love e-file. If you don't use it I can just say this- Step into the 21st century people! This is not the 1940's anymore! It's the only way to go.

Last night Summer attended another one of my therapy appointments with me. We had a good time there. My therapist actually thinks that I am ready to see my psychiatrist to see about reducing my meds. Only problem is that she is out of the office indefinitely. My therapist, SR and I all think that the talk I had with my parents last month has a huge deal to do with why I am feeling so much better. I just got so much stuff off of my chest that night. It has truly been a life altering night.

And now the news everyone has been waiting for. Drum roll please.

Summer had her breast reduction surgery this morning! She went under the knife at 8:00AM this morning. It took a little longer than anticipated, but the surgery went great. Of course they didn't let me come in to see her until after 2:00! Then I had to leave at 4:00 to get back home to pick youngest up from his after school program. So I only had 2 hours to spend with her. she was pretty groggy which is to be expected. But she is so happy to finally have it done. Now we just have to wait for the heeling process to finish so we can see how it looks. For the next 7 days she has to wear a bra 24/7. She is not allowed to take a shower until her post-op appointment next Mon. I don't go back to work until next Tue. So I will be here to help her around the house. Or rather make sure she stays in bed. She is staying tonight in the hospital and will return tomorrow. I am going to see her as soon as the boys are off to school. She should be home a little after lunch. Fingers crossed. Parents leave for Mexico in the morning and won't be here to get kids from school.

One last thing. While waiting to get to go and see Summer a coworker called me and "disguised" his voice to tell me that my temporary promotion and crew change got approved today. So as of Feb. 1 I will be getting a 5% out of class pay raise for up to a year and $0.50 an hour raise for working an evening shift. When I return to work on Tue. I will no longer have to work with annoying coworker! (If you haven't read about her I recommend clicking both links to get up to speed.)

Tomorrow I'll post some pictures from the last 2 hunting trips for the year.

Better!

That's right fabulous readers. Our dashingly handsome hero is feeling very much better. He has spent pretty much the entire day Fri. and Sat. in bed. Yesterday was spent doing lite work around the house mixed in with short resting naps. The day ended with earth shaking sex for both our dashing hero and his amazingly sexy wife. It was a long time coming. :D

So now it is time for our hero to get some sleep in. Perhaps even have some more amazing sex with his wife. Then they must get up at 3:30 AM to get ready for the 6:00 appointment for surgery. After which there will be a very, very long dry spell in store.

Tune in next time when we see how the operation turned out.

Hello all. As my lovely wife told you yesterday I am extremely sick. I'm going to spare you all the gory details though. I will just say that I got to the ER at 1:00PM yesterday and didn't leave until after 3 in the morning. I had a temp of 102, erratic heartbeat, and dehydrated don't begin to describe how dry I was. They had to give me 5 IVs. It was not a pleasant way to spend the day. Do any of you know how uncomfortable ER beds are when you are in them for over 12 hours?

Today hasn't been much better either. I'm not dehydrated anymore. But I'm still in bed. Haven't gotten out of bed since I got home at 4 AM. My entire body aches. I'm sweating like mad. I'm STARVING! The last real meal I ate was dinner on Wed. night. Had nothing to eat at all yesterday, and only 4 pieces of toast today. I'm amazed at how much I have been sleeping the last 2 days.

Well that's enough for now. Time to rest up some more.

Ch Is Very Sick

For those who stop by my hubby's blog, and wondering why he hasn't updated. He had good day of hunting yesterday, came home at 6:30 p.m. had dinner with us. He helped me with J's sicence project while I was getting C ready for bed. After wards we did my HNT pic which is already posted on my blog, and we both went to bed.

All in all it was a good night, this morning CH woke up not feeling well. About 12:15 p.m. He calls my cell which is off since I was at work and told me he was going to the e.r. he hasn't been feeling well since I left for work. The second to last text message I got said they are taking blood from me, and finding me a room. His dad took him to the hospital and that is where he is at the moment.

On top of Ch going to the hospital, I was called to get C from school he isn't feeling well either. I just hope and pray that I don't get whatever is going around because I have my operation on Tuesday.

May every one's weekend be a good one.

When we last left our young hero he was worried about the upcoming mold inspection on his house. He was fretting every detail of the inspection. The possibility of not being able to live in the house due to the mold was keeping him awake at nights. He was worried that in order to get rid of the mold his family would have to move out of the residence while contractors were cleaning and gutting the house. His biggest worry was that the money just wasn't going to be there to fix the problem.

Well all of the fears were taken care of yesterday. Our dashingly handsome hero has had his fears put at ease. The mold inspector came to the house and looked at the problem areas. He tested the walls with a moisture detecting device. It detected no moisture on the walls at all. Apparently most of the problem is due to the age of the house. The house was built in 1959. There is absolutely no insulation between the interior and exterior walls. Therefore when it is cold outside and warm inside the condensation builds up on the walls. Then the condensation sticks to dust that is on the walls and grows into mold. It is not on the inside of the sheet rock because mold does not penetrate semi gloss paint.

So what is the cure for this? It is actually quite simple. Once a month our hero and his amazingly sexy spouse should wipe the walls down with a mild soap solution to kill the micro-organisms. The company is going to call back in a few days with an estimate to come and take out the sheet rock in the master bath and replace it. They will also give an estimate to replace all 9 windows in the house. No need to replace carpet. No need to move out for awhile so work could be done.

So till next time it is now time for the dashing hero and his amazingly sexy wife to get a decent sleep and maybe have a quiet meal.

Help needed from women.......PLEASE

Ok all you wonderful blogging ladies out there. Summer excluded. Nothing personal dear. I need your help.

Do any of you see the need to keep baby clothes from your kids? Seriously. This has been a long standing disagreement with Summer and I. She has several boxes (yes SEVERAL) of clothes from both boys that she refuses to give away or throw out. WHY?! I see no need for this. It is a waste of valuble space. Our boys will never wear them again. When they have kids of their own they will be unusable anyways due to being eaten by moths, or the simple fact that they won't be the "in thing" for kids to wear in the future. They just sit in the boxes not being looked at or anything.

Do all women do this? Is there something in my male brain that just is not getting the point here? Wouldn't it be better to donate them to the Goodwill or something? Maybe a charity that helps single teen moms. I don't know. Anything is better than what we are doing now.

Just to be fair I also realize that I have junk of my own that I need to get rid of to save space myself. I am in the process of doing just that.

If it is a woman thing that all women do I will drop the issue.
As you recall from one of last months posts I had a little problem with my mom. That problem has disappeared for the time being. Also if you recall I went back to my parents house later that night. I never did write about all the things that were discussed that night. Most of them are just too personal to post about. I just don't want to even think about them. So they are getting buried down deep where they won't be thought about. If Digger thinks that he and Arwyn are avoiders they don't hold a candle to the avoidance issues my family has. Not that I'm bragging though.

Well on to what I was saying. One of the good things that came out of the late night conversating that my parents and I had was that my mom is now going to tutor our oldest son 2 times a week. That has started to take effect last week once school started back from Christmas break. So far things are going pretty good. Hopefully this will help him improve on his reading and math.

The other good thing that came out of the night has to do with the house. As you recall from this post last year we have a problem with our house. It has mold growing on the walls. It never did go away even after the cleaning we did to it last winter. We scrubbed the walls with bleach and it went away for awhile but it has returned to haunt us yet again. So I talked to my parents about the problem that night too. I told them that the homeowners won't do anything about the problem. We can't sell due to the problem. We can't live in the house like it is much longer because of the problem. I can't do anything about the problem to fix it because it will cost MAJOR bucks to do it.

So my parents said that they would do some looking around for a mold inspector to come out and look at the house and do some tests to determine what kind of mold we are dealing with. Well they found someone, and that person is coming to inspect the house tomorrow afternoon. He will find out what kind of mold it is and see if he can determine the cause of it. Although from the conversation he had with my dad he has a good idea of what it is. He will then determine what we need to do to alleviate the problem and give us an estimate on repair costs.

At that time my parents will decide if they have the funds to help us out and pay for the repairs. We can pay them back in a few years if we decide to sell the house. Or they said it could be deemed an early inheritance. I really don't like asking my parents for this kind of help. Especially with the guessing of how much it will cost to fix the problem. We're talking several thousand dollars up to possibly 20k or more. At the very least we need top replace all the carpet, replace the sheet rock from the floor up 4 feet on all exterior walls, and possibly replace all the windows in the house. The windows is because we have aluminum frame windows and they sweat in the winter. If we go with plastic frame windows they won't sweat, plus they will have a better insulation ability. Plus the possibility of replacing all the mattresses in the house and all furniture with cloth ie couches, etc.

Anyways asking for this much help makes me feel like I can't support my family. I also don't like taking this money from my parents because they are both retired and are now traveling all over the place enjoying life. If they give/lend the money to us then they won't have the money to use it for themselves. On the other hand we can not live like this. Summer and our oldest have been getting these really bad headaches anymore. It is starting to affect our health. So I'm stuck between the rock and the hard place.

Oh yes another great day. I stayed home from work today due to a sore back. I spent most of the morning in bed with a heating pad on it. after the kids got sent off to school Summer came in to give me a hug and see how I was doing. She ended up staying in bed with me. We had a very long meal. It was a full course meal with appetizers, salad, soup, main course, and several deserts. Life is good. :D

We haven't taken the time to enjoy a full course meal in a very long time. Lately we've been eating a lot of take out and fast food. These fancy restaurants are nice to enjoy and have been sorely missed.

My back is feeling better now BTW. Not 100%, but better none the less.

Tuesday, January 09, 2007

Yesterday when I got home from work I had the rare opportunity to come home to an empty house. Youngest was at his after school program, oldest was at my parents being tutored and Summer hadn't gotten home from work yet. So I took the time to do a little cleaning in the kitchen, and read a couple blogs. By the time summer came home I had started to cook dinner on the stove. When she got in she wanted to relax a little bit and unwind at the computer.

After a little bit of time at the computer oldest calls and asked when we wanted him home. Told him that dinner would be done around 6 and be here by then. That was a little before 5. Well I'm not one to waste some alone time with my wife if at all possible. So I went to her and hugged her and started kissing her neck and nibbling her ear lobes. I just love to do that to her. She shudders and giggles when I do that to her. She immediately asked me if I wanted to go into the bedroom.

Do humans need oxygen?

She walked into the bedroom and stepped into the wash room and closed the door. So I just laid on the bed waiting for her. She came out fully undressed. She just takes my breathe away when she does that. Seeing her naked form in front of me. Simply amazing.

She laid next to me in bed and said she wanted me to hold her so she could relax some more after work. No problems from me. Cuddle time is as good to me as nookie time. We just lay there holding each other and she began to talk to me about how her day went. I just listened to her and didn't try to say anything unnecessary. After she was done talking she kissed me and basically told me to make love to her now. Then she started taking off my clothes and rubbing my chest. I thought she wanted some slow love making so I went to kiss her and do a little foreplay when she said no. She wanted me in her. Now. I reached over to the nightstand, grabbed the lube and applied some to myself and just entered into her. She was really ready sooner than I expected her to be. It was wonderful;. No one was home. Doors were open. We were vocal. I felt myself getting ready to climax and she told me to just let it go. I did just that. A minute later oldest walks in the front door calling for us saying he was home.

Can you say show stopper?

I jumped up from bed and ran to close the bedroom door just in time to see my mom walk in the front door. Summer and I just looked at each other and laughed.

IO got dressed and went to the living room to greet mom and my son. I was a little flushed.

Learned my lesson though. Always watch the clock!

Now to see if we can continue tonight where we left off yesterday. This time it's all about pleasuring her.

Wonderful weekend

Howdy all! Isn't today a great day? The birds are signing, the skies are clear. It's just a great, wonderful day.

Why you ask?

I'll tell you!

First of all I left the house on Fri. night to go duck hunting for the weekend. more importantly though Summer's sister was gone when I came home yesterday! :D My house is now back to normal. I can walk around in my boxers again after the kids go to bed. I don't have to come into the living room to find some lame ass show on my television (insert some stupid model contest show, and anything on MTV). I can sit in my living room with no television on and enjoy the silence. just me and my computer screen. I can now read blogs and post when I want to without someone looking at the screen to see what I'm doing. I can IM with people without being questioned for it.*

It's just a great feeling.

So before I go into detail about how the hunting was let me answer a question from Rob on my last post.

If SR's sis is such a total nutbar at times, driving you completely bonkers, then why do you have her staying at your home? Is this your new year's resolution to address self abuse? (evil grin)

No rob this is not my resolution. I don't make resolutions. The reason we have her stay here during holiday times of the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter) is because she is free babysitting. Summer and I work whether school is in or not. The kids get 3 weeks for Christmas, and 1 each for Easter and Thanksgiving. She don't have a job so that isn't an issue for her to come over. Summer gets to spend time with her sister. Even though she drives her nuts she is still family and Summer can't stand to have her alone during family gathering times of the year. Besides she only drives us batty after she has been here for awhile. She does love the kids and for the most part does a good job with them. I mainly just don't like house guests for extended stays. That's why we have put our foot down on the subject of her coming to live with us. We made that mistake with my sister and we're not making it again.

So on to the hunting.

My uncle and I hunted together on Sat. morning. It was a really good day. Cold, foggy, slight breeze. It was cold enough to actually have a very thin layer of ice over the pond till about 10:30-11:00. We had birds around almost the whole day. They worked the call good, but wouldn't commit to actually land. But they did come in pretty close quite a few times. I just couldn't hit the broadside of a barn at all. I got 1 little teal for almost an entire box of shells. I'm very embarrassed to type that. It was a good day hunting anyways so I'm not going to dwell on my bad aim.

Sun. I hunted the same refuge with my cousin. We fared a little better on the shooting averages. But there weren't nearly the amount of birds in the air as Sat. My cousin shot 3 teal and I got 1. But my shell to bird ratio was a lot better. 1-6 for Sun. compared to 1-18 the previous day. We stayed in the blind until about 1 but could have left at 8. We didn't see a single workable birds after the initial morning flight. No fog, and it wasn't nearly as cold as Sat.

The best part of the day was I got home in the evening to find a completely empty house. No one was home. I was able to unload my gear get it cleaned and take a long shower. Trust me when I say that shower was greatly necessary. Especially after 2 days of hunting. I was pretty ripe.

In other great news Summer received an email over the weekend saying that her laptop has been shipped back from the manufacturer. We will once again be allowed to post at will without competing for the internet. I'm expecting it to be here Thu. or Fri. at the latest. I can't wait.

There's other things I want to relate to you all but it just don't fit into this post so I'll try to get to it tomorrow.

*Yes Summer knows that I IM with people over the net. Both male and female. We are both secure enough in our relationship now that it isn't a problem. I really have a hard time talking to people IRL so the net makes it a lot easier for me. Besides it's cool to see how people do things in different parts of the country. I just have a hard time remembering the time difference. I guess there is one down side to being on the west coast. Everyone else is in bed when I'm available to chat.

2007!

It's the beginning of a new year.

So what did Summer and I do to ring in the new year last night? Absolutely nothing. We watched a few movies with the kids and S-I-L, had a drink that I didn't finish, and went to bed around 11:45. Yup. SR and I are major party animals. We couldn't make it to midnight. I started reading a little bit before I fell asleep. Luckily someone down the street set off some fireworks a little after midnight so I was able to wake up and kiss Summer and say happy new year.

That was it. No resolutions (I don't believe in them). No rowdy parties. Nothing. I'm actually surprised that we stayed up that late.

So who really knows what the new year will bring? I for one haven't got the slightest clue. I DO know what it won't be bringing though. It won't be bringing me the promotion I was hoping for. I got a notice from the state a few days ago. It said that the entire test was going to be thrown out. AFTER they mailed out the results and rankings. So now I need to take another test sometime in June. So the promotion will need to wait another year at least.

Not everything on the work front is bad news though. I did get a 5% raise effective today. :D

I also found a little way of making a few extra bucks on the side. I've got a few coworkers that would like me to do their taxes for them. I'm getting the turbo tax program this year and do my own. Why should I pay someone $250 to do them for me when I can do them myself for the price of a program. My coworkers feel the same way. But they are to afraid of the computer to do them. So they said they would pay me $50 a piece to do them for them. So I've got enough people wanting them done to pay for the program. That's not including doing them for my parents, sister, and grandma. But those are for free. I highly recommend that if you are tired of paying big bucks to tax people that you go buy this for yourself. I've used Turbo Tax for 6 years. Then last year we went to a tax company to have them done for us due to Summer's business and buying the house. You know what? He used the same dam program! And he charged us a little over $250 to do it. What a waste of money.

Well it's time to go now. I'm just doing this because someone told me that I needed to post. Even though that someone deleted her blog by "screwing" around. I'm sure you know who you are. Don't you someone. :D

On a topic completely out of left field, did you know that Summer's sister is a total freak? She seems to think that a threesome is the cure to every couples problems. FREAK!

It's me again

I don't know why but it has just been so hard to find the time to write this past week. It's not that I have a lack of topics to blog about either. I could write about how our Christmas was, or about the conversation that I had with my parents last week. Or the great sex that SR and I engaged in after we had that conversation. Or about how much I dislike HATE Kaiser!

But for some reason I'm just not quite "feeling" it. But in the spirit of blogging I will find my way and tell a little about what has been happening in my life as of late.

I'm not going to delve into the talk that I had with my parents. I'm just going to say that we worked a lot of things out. Things were said that have been needing to be said for many many years. Everything is not perfect. It never will be. At least it won't be perfect for some time to come. Some things that were said can never be taken back.

What I will say about that night is that I learned something about my parents that I could have gone my entire life without knowing. And to make myself feel a little better I'm going to tell you all what I heard. After my dad came back over to pick me up that night and we were driving to his house when he said that he and my mom haven't slept in the same bed for years. Many years. Then he said that they haven't been "intimate" with each other for years before that. WTF! who really wants to know this about his parents? Seriously. Would any of you like to hear this from your parents? Or how about some of the people that are in situations like that. Would you tell one of your kids that you haven't had sex with their other parent in years? Just what I want to know about. The sexual habits of people that are a year or two away from being senior citizens. AARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

On to more pleasant thoughts.

Nope not going to post about the sex that SR and I had. Not after that revelation.

Christmas was a good day. It actually started on Sun night. We took the kids out like we do every year to look at the Christmas lights throughout the town. When we came home SR read Twas the Night Before Christmas to the boys and put them to bed.

That's when the real work began. There were still presents to wrap. I had to go to my work to get all the presents out of my locker and bring them home. SR and I ended up staying up till about 11:30 getting everything under the tree. after we were done with that it was time to hit the hay. It was a very long, emotional day for me.

Did I mention that Summer asked me to go to church with her on Christmas Eve?

No?

Well she did. And I accepted. It was a good day at church with the family. all of Summer's friends were saying how happy they were to see me there. Not sure if it was that they were glad I was there, or if it was more of it's about time you started coming here with your wife. This was a record for me I think. It was the third or fourth time in a month that I've attended a church function with her. A few weeks ago I helped her and a few of her friends to decorate the church for Christmas. That was a lot of fun.

Back to Christmas day. Summer and I are very fortunate and lucky parents. When my sister and I were kids (heck even as teenagers) we would wake up at about 4 in the morning, start calling for our parents, and ask if it was time. They would say no it's not time yet go back to sleep! We knew better than to leave our rooms before mom or dad gave us permission. so the calling and asking if it was time yet would go on till about 6 or 6:30 in the morning. We'd call about every 20 minutes or so. Finally my parents would say fine. It's time to open the presents. We'd open the presents then they'd go back to bed for awhile to get some sleep that we would deprive them of.

Us on the other hand, have kids that will sleep forever if we would let them. I think the earliest that we have ever opened presents is somewhere around 7:45. This year was no different. Summer and I woke up around 7ish, and waited for the kids to get up around 8. Is that lucky or what?

The other nice thing this year was having my parents living in town. There was no rush to leave the house to get to my parents house. We got to be lazy, watch a movie that we got the kids and didn't leave here till after 3. That was great! Plus it was a nice 5 minute drive to get home when the time came.

That's really about all I've got for now. Maybe later this weekend I'll talk about why Kaiser is pissing me off so much. That is of course if Summer don't beat me to it while I'm out hunting this weekend.

I'll leave you with these two final pictures from Christmas day. The first is of me in my Homer Simpson sleep pants. I just LOVE them! They're so cool. The next is of my S-I-L and my sister acting like weirdos at desert time.

May you also have a happy and safe New Year.

I would also like to take this time to thank each and every one of you that stop by here and at Summers blog. The support that you have given us this past year has been nothing short of amazing. We appreciate all of it.

Merry Christmas from CH, Summer Rose, CH Jr., and youngest son.

**I also realize that I really need to post an update to what happened between my mom and I the other night. I just haven't been in the spirit as of late. Just let it be known that everything has worked itself out and we are doing fine now.**

Dear Santa,
I don't know if you can do this, but for Christmas,
I'd like for my mommy and daddy to get back together.
Please see what you can do.
Love, Teddy

Dear Teddy,
Look, your dad's banging the babysitter like a screen door in a
hurricane. Do you think he's gonna give that up to come back to your frigid mom, who rides his ass constantly? It's time to give up that dream. Let me send you some Legos instead.
Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I want a new bike, a Playstation 2, a train, some G.I. Joes, a dog,
a drum kit, a pony and a tuba.
Love, Francis

Dear Francis, Who names their kid "Francis" nowadays. I bet you're gay. I'll set you up with a Barbie.
Santa
****************************************************

Dear Santa,
I left milk and cookies for you under the tree, and I left carrots for your reindeer outside the back door.

Dear Susan, Milk gives me the shits and carrots make the deer fart in my face when riding in the sleigh. You want to do me a favor? Leave me a bottle of Scotch.
Santa

****************************************************

Dear Santa,
What do you do the other 364 days of the year?
Are you busy making toys?
Your friend, Thomas

Dear Thomas,
All the toys are made in China. I have a condo in Vegas where I spend
most of my time making low-budget porno films.
I unwind by drinking myself silly and squeezing the asses
of cocktail waitresses while losing money at
the craps table. Hey, you wanted to know.
Santa

*************************************************
Dear Santa,
Do you see us when we're sleeping,
do you really know when we're awake,
like in the song?
Love, Jessica

Dear Jessica,
Are you really that gullible? Good luck in whatever you do. I'm skipping your house.
Santa

****************************************************
Dear Santa,
I really want a puppy this year. Please, please, please,
PLEASE, PLEASE could I have one?
Love, Timmy

Dear Timmy, That whiney begging shit may work with your\n folks, but that crap doesn't work with me. You're getting a sweater again.
Santa
****************************************************
Dearest Santa,
We don't have a chimney in our house.
How do you get into our home?
Love, Marky

Dear Mark,
First stop callling yourself "Marky", that's why you're getting your ass whipped at school. Second, you don't live in a house, you live in a low-rent apartment complex. Third, I get inside your pad just like the bogey man does, through your bedroom window.
Sweet dreams, Santa

Love, Marky

More crap I don't need right now

**New post below this one as well.**

Well yesterday wasn't all sunrises and roses. No. Not by a long shot.

Apparently my mom has been "unhappy" with how things in her life have been going. So she decided to attand a seminar in San Francisco. This was a 3 day seminar having to do with becoming the "you that you always wanted to be". Or something like that. I'm not exactly sure. After I got a bombshell or two dropped on me I was in a different world.

Anyways part of this program is about open and honest communication. Because before you can be the you that you want to be, you have to be open and honest in all of your life. Which means that you must always be honest with the people in your life. So she spent most of her breaks in the day practicing this open and honest communication. And guess who was on that list.

That's right. Yours truly. Me.

So she tells me that in order for her to be who she wants to be she needs to be open and honest with me. So what does she do? She tells me that there has been something that has been bothering her for a quite a few years now. She tells me that she knows I did something when I was a kid. About the same time my sister and I were molested by my cousin. She says that she is my mother and that she still loves me unconditionally. She don't expect me to do or say anything. But that she needed to get it off her chest to become this new person.

Well there wasn't really much I could say. She just comes out of the blue and says I did something over 20 years ago and she knows I did it. WTF?! I have a hard enough time remembering things that happened last week. How the hell am I supposed to remember every detail about what happened in the year 1980 something? That is a year that I don't want to remember anything about. So I said well I have no clue what your talking about or what I'm supposed to say so I'm just not going to say anything.

To make me feel like I wasn't alone she says that well your not the only one I've taken by surprise today. I also called one of my brothers and blew him away as well by saying that I want to have more communication with him than just saying hi at the Christmas party every year.

Um...yeah. That's so the same thing. I feel ssoooooo much better now. Thanks for that little tid bit of information. Then she says to me that that was all she wanted to say to me and that she would let me go back to my evening with my family.

Yeah. Right. You just drop this major bombshell on me and I'm supposed to go on like nothing was ever said? Bull SHIT! So it pretty much fucked up the rest of my night. As well as today too. That's why I'm posting today in the afternoon. I was in a funk at work that I couldn't get out of so I came home. Didn't help. Funk is still there.

Back to the conversation now. I asked her before we hung up if this was something that she was doing with Mary Kay. She said no it was something she wanted to do on her own because she was unhappy with how her life was going. This is when she drops the other bombshell. She's going to use her newly found "open and honest communication" skills when she gets home and talk to my dad. And she's not sure if they will remain married when they are done "talking".

Um....nice one mom. Especially since you just had hoim buy you a new wedding ring not even 4 months ago that he paid 3 grand for. Way to go. Smooth move.

So here we are.6 days before Christmas, and two major life altering things being said to me. Out of nowhere. Merry f'ing Christmas.

This really isn't the shit that I need to be dealing with. Not now. Not ever for that matter. I'm just starting to get my own life on track for once and in the blink of an eye my mom goes and derails it again. Where the hell does she get off tearing my life apart just to improve her own life?

So really all I have to say now is that you can't expect to give "open and honest communication" without receiving "open and honest communication" in return. Be carefuly waht you ask for. You just might get what you are asking for. And when you get it, it might not be as pleasant as you think it will be.

All this is really starting to make me think that what I hear some people say is correct. "A parents job is to raise their children to the age of 18. To ensure that they will be contributing members of society. Once the child reaches the age of 18 the parents job is done. In return when the child get's married and starts his own family the parents are no longer the most important people in the childs life. That roll goes to the spouse and children of the child. You should not worry about making your parents happy anymore. Make you spouse and yourself happy. Every one else is secondary and not as important anymore." That is not an exact quote but real close. It stems from people that are sacrificeing their marriage to please their parents. The parents have done their job. It's time to go out and live your own life the way you see fit.

Really begining to think that nature has it right when the offspring leave the nest and never return.

Hunting pictures

For my first post of today I will post up some pictures I took while out duck hunting yesterday morning. I didn't get any birds. Again. But that's really not the reason that I go hunting. I go out there because it gives me a chance to think about things. I get the opportunity to look at the world and know that somewhere money and other shit don't matter. I also get the opportunity to see sights that many people never get an opportunity to see. So I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

The mountain range in the back ground is known as the Sutter Buttes. They are a very prominent feature visible for over 100 miles as your driving on I5 through the valley. The land all around is flat rice fields. Except for the buttes.

I have at least one more if not 2 more posts in mind for today so there is more to look forward to.

Tis the season for family pettiness

Does anyone recall this little post back in June? It's the one about my cousin coming out of the closet and announcing that he is gay, and divorcing his wife. Well things are getting pretty ugly now. Which I'm sure they were destined to become. But why the pettiness? I just don't understand it.

So let me see if I can relate whats been going on. I'm sure none of you really want to hear about this. But for those of you that are contemplating divorce I'll just go ahead and post it anyways to let you see the darker side of divorce.

So let's see what's going on now. Since the breakup my cousin has found and moved in with his boyfriend. They are living in a one bedroom apartment. So when he has his weekend to have the kids he goes to his parents house so the kids have their own room. His boyfriend goes along with him for the weekend. The kids really like him and know him as their dads friend. Except the oldest who is 8. His mom told him that his dad was gay a week after my cousin moved out. When they both agreed that they would do it together.

Well a few weeks ago his parents have decided to get a divorce for the same reason as my cousin. So my uncle moved out of the house. The day after he moved out my aunt calls my VERY Catholic grandma to tell her that they are getting divorced because her son was gay. (This is important trust me.) It's also important to know that she has a "medical" marijuana permit. Cousins ex knew about this for years. Never once had a problem with it. Even had my aunt watch the kids for a week at a time so she could go on vacations.

A few weeks ago my cousin and his boyfriend decided that they needed to move to a different city so they could afford a bigger place to live in. That way the kids will have there own room to stay in when they see their dad. The city is an hour and a half away from where they are living now. So now ex is upset and says that she refuses to drive half the distance as agreed on in the temporary custody agreement. So what does she do to retaliate? She files papers with the courts saying that my cousin can not provide a stable home environment for his kids because he is living with a man. Also because his parents are getting a divorce as well and because the kids grandma has a permit to smoke weed. So because of this my cousin is not allowed to see his kids until the court can evaluate the situation in a court hearing. Which won't be till after the new year.

So what does my aunt do this week? After what she did by telling my grandma about my uncle when it wasn't her place to do in the first place? She went to all the family members Myspace pages asking/telling us to remove my cousins ex from our friends list. Because she is not what the family needs to be associated with.

Personally I don't think that either one of them are what the family needs right now. I really wanted to stay friends with my cousins ex. But this little stunt was just to dam far. She's just doing it to hurt my cousin because she knows how important they are. She's using them as little pawns instead of letting them be kids. She changed the phone number so he can't call and talk to them. She even took the kids and hid them from all the family members for awhile.

Now I didn't need my aunt to say what she did about taking her off my myspace page. But where does she get off saying that when she told my grandma about my uncle when it was none of her business? As religious as my grandma is it could have been very bad. She's in good health but she is also 83 years old. Who knows what the shock could have done to her. I was going to do that on my own. Without being told.

The good news is that I'm only spending Christmas with my parents, sister, grandma, SR, and my kids. No other family to bring me down. I've got enough shit to deal with without them adding to it. Seriously thinking about just closing out the myspace page.

The greatest wife

I challenge anyone to tell me that they have a greater wife than I do.

Any takers?

Anyone?

No?

Good. I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone.

So why is Summer the greatest wife? Because through all the troubles we have gone through in the past 2 weeks with our children she still has the ability to remain the loving woman I married 12 years ago. Sure there have been many tears shed in the past week over issues that were out of our control but she still has remained strong after the tears have fallen. She still has her faith. That is something that I truly love the most in her. Her faith. I may not be a "believer" in the eyes of many many people. But it don't mean that I have no respect or admiration for those that have an unwavering faith.

So what has she done to make me so happy lately? Let's see here............. For starters she tells me several times a day that she loves me. She gives me hugs, kisses and love, every day when I walk in the door from work. She makes me feel like I'm the best person I can possibly be. She's really turned very playful as of late.

Take yesterday for example. We were sending some text messages to each other. When she sent what she thought was her last one she sent an animation of a person sticking out his tongue. That started an hour and a half text message marathon between the two of us. It lasted until I walked in the door from work. At which point I took her to our bedroom, took off her clothes, laid her on the bed and played wonderful mouth music on her southern regions. Which led to us having wonderful hot animal sex. She even talked dirty to me. Very, VERY HOT!

Afterwards she made me the happiest that I have been in a very long time. She attended my therapy appointment with me last night. Even more importantly she opened up and talked! She talked more in an hour last night than she did for the 7-8 appointments we had in marriage counseling 4 years ago. She even said that she will return to the next one next month. We had a great time last night at the appointment. We both laughed a lot when we were talking. The feeling continued for the rest of the night as we finally started our Christmas shopping. Unfortunately we're not even half way done. We've still got a lot more gifts to buy for the kids, my parents, my sister, my grandma, and a certain diamond ring I've got my eye on for that special someone in my life,. ;-)

I'm going Nucking Futs!

I have no clue what is going on with me today. Outside of the fact that last night didn't happen as I was hoping and it don't look like it will be happening tonight either. But that's besides the point.

Today while at work I was in the same vehicle as annoying coworker (who by the way isn't so annoying anymore). For some reason she said something and I spit out something totally unexpected.

I said to her- You know that it is a proven fact that 28.5% of women a battered?

She replies really?

Yes it is. And to think I've been eating mine plain all these years. I got a big laugh out of it and her reaction. She turned real red and told me that I was just wrong. But she said it was funny.

About 15 minutes later we're in the yard eating lunch. She asks me to tell our boss what I said because she knew he'd find it funny. So I told him and laughed even harder than I did the first time.

he responded by saying that it's a fact that women think about sex on average of every 6 hours. Men on the other hand think about sex every 30 seconds on average.

Oh God! I'm laughing so hard about this all over again I can barely type.

So after lunch (which I got to spend with Summer as well as coworker and boss) my boss asks us to come in his office to see the pics he took while in Ha. to see his son. We're looking at the pics for awhile when another female coworker (different crew) comes to the office and looks in. I said excuse me is there a problem? May we help you?

She responds Is there a mouse in your pocket?

So for some unknown reason I said would you like to help take it out?

My boss covers his ears, other coworker says there he goes again he's on a roll today! Coworker asking about mouse steps into office and wants to know if I was serious.

We all got a good laugh out of it.

after work I'm telling the whole story to SR on our way shopping and I again start laughing so hard my jaw hurt, my sides hurt and I had a hard time staying in my lane.

I have NO idea what has come over me today. But I am just full of laughter and weird jokes.

I think I just need to get some hot monkey love. What do you think?

Quickie

Just want to stop by real quick like to say that I'm still alive. Been extremely busy this week making Christmas cookies. I've made 5 double batches of cookies since Sun. night. I still have at least 2 more double batches to make before Sat. afternoons family Christmas party.

The other thing that I wanted to say was that sex is just the best thing. It's fantastic! When two people that love each other get together and show their feelings physically it's just amazing. Made a slight medication adjustment last week and this week I'm hoping tonight will be #3 in 4 days. **fingers crossed**

Almost forgot- last night SR saw a commercial for the Victorias Secret show and asked me if I would like to watch it with her. How awesome is that? :D

Where I'd rather be tonight

This video is from a live concert. It is Trans Siberian Orchestra. The song is called Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24. They are doing a concert here in Sacramento at Arco Arena tonight. Unfortunately I won't be making this year. Again. :-( I have been wanting to see this show for years. I've heard from many people that have seen it that it is an excellant show. They have an awsome light show that goes along with the music.

I make this promise to myself: I WILL go see them next year! At any cost I will see them live.
